Is Fuel Hauler Pro free?
Yes, completely free. Every feature is free for every driver, with no subscription. The app is supported by optional donations and a few ads on its information pages.
Do I need an account?
No. The calculators, tank chart and drop planner work without signing in, and the numbers you type are saved on your phone. Sign in with email or Google if you want your stations, tanks, charts, drop history and trailers saved on any phone.
Does it work offline?
Once you've opened it with signal, the app opens and the tank calculator and drop planner keep working with no signal. Photo scans, the EPA tank lookup, help chat, reviews and sign-in need a connection. If you're signed in and log a drop with no signal, it's kept on your phone and sent when you're back online.
What tank sizes are supported?
79 standard underground tank sizes from 550 to 60,000 gallons, in fiberglass with rounded ends and steel with flat ends. You can also enter any tank's inside diameter and length, or save the station's own tank chart on a tank.
How accurate are the charts?
They are estimates. Standard sizes use a standard tank shape, and real tanks of the same size can differ by hundreds of gallons. Each result shows its chart source so you know how exact it is. The station's certified chart, the console and your own stick always come first.
How does the overfill warning work?
Plan a drop compares the tank after your drop with the 90% and 95% lines. It warns you at 90%, warns harder past 95%, and shows a full red spill-risk warning if the drop won't fit. Use max safe drop cuts the gallons to what fits under 90%.
How do the photo scans work?
You can photograph a console printout, a BOL, a tank chart or your stick. An AI service reads the numbers and the app asks you to confirm them. Readings can be wrong, so always check them against the paper or the stick.
Is my data stored?
Without an account, your numbers stay on your phone. With an account, we keep your name, email and what you save. Scan photos are not kept after they're read. We don't sell your data. The privacy policy has the details.
Can I put it on my home screen?
Yes. Open the site in your phone's browser and choose Add to Home Screen from the browser menu. It then opens like an app.
Does it work in Spanish or metric?
Yes. Switch between English and Spanish with the EN/ES button at the top. In Account you can choose US gallons and inches, metric, or automatic by country.
Can it help me load the truck?
Yes. Load the truck splits an order into your trailer's pockets and warns you as soon as the gross weight goes over your limit.
